help with algae ?

new to the forum so hope this is the right place

I have a bit of web algae in my planted tank i believe it is caused by high iron corect?

how do i fix this?

its a 55 gallon 1'' of a clay and soil mix capped with 2'' of sand,.
lighting is single h.o t5 6,700k , filtration is a 55 gallon wet dry that holds aprox 30-40 gallons or water and a skilter h.o.b filter,

plants are
