My First 55
Hello, my name is Travis and This is my first attempt at building a 55 gal, and it is my first attempt at low tech-lightly planted. If you have any suggestions or comments please do not keep them to yourselves because I have many many things I would like to improve upon on this tank. Attached is a picture of the tank.
Java Fern - Microsorum pteropus Windelov Java Fern, - Microsorum pteropus 'Windelov Rotala Indica - Rotala indica These are the plants that I remember what they are off the top of my head, there are also 5 others. all are still relativity small. My CURRENT fish in the tank (several where starters and shall go back to the 10 gal. is as follows. 1 Platy 2 Guppies 1 Red-finned Rainbow Shark 1 snail 1 ghost shrimp 3 hi-finned black skirt tetras 4 Sword tails 1 Golden Dojo Loach So the current plan with stocking is to take out the platy, guppy and snail and replace them with more tetras and 1-2 more loaches. any ideas other then that? |

Definitely get some Angels as a centerpiece. Can't go wrong. They have personality, easy to take care of and come in a variety of colors, etc.

Only problem with angels is that they'll eat shrimp.
