Colombian Tetras aggresive?

Well recently I went to petsmart and purchased 6 neon tetras and 4 colombian tetras for my 29 gallon. Its well filtrated by a Filstar XP2 and is well established. It has another school of 6 rummy nose, gourami, and an adult angelfish.

Since then out of the 6, 2 have died from the neon tetras and every other fish has been fine. The 4 neons school with my rummys constantly and the two new ones I added today school with them as well but then the 2 new ones died with bites on their body. I haven't gotten to see who it was, but my though is, is that it is the group of 4 colombian tetras. I didn't know anything about them but they were labeled as community fish. So now I have to go back and REPLACE the 2 neon tetras I already replaced... lol

So should I just return the 4 colombian tetras (costed 80 cents [black friday deal), get my other two neons back, and replace the 4 colombians with something else?

I don't see a problem with my angel and neons because he is pretty passive and only gets in small chases with the gourami so they keep each other busy and he doesn't worry about my schooling fish (rummys and neons)

I need some feedback, im pretty stressed about my FISH believe it or not haha, thanks guys.

Well, I have a bunch of Columbian Tetras, and I've never seen aggressive behavior out of them except for a little chasing among themselves (I think it's a pecking order thing, and seems to be just the males). I have 18 in a community tank with Buenos Aires Tetras, Black Neons, Harlequin Rasboras, Blue Tetras, and a green cory. I have 50 or so fry growing in another tank, and I do see the same dart & chase in there. They do have visible teeth, but mine are timid when it comes to the other species of fish - they go out of their way to avoid them. I don't know how heavily planted your tank is, but they will nibble on plants.

Well Ill wait till friday I guess cause thats when the next sale for $1 fish is, so ill see how they act until then. If its them then sadly I will have to return them. I love my rummys and now neons so much I cant risk having them all die for some moody colombian tetras haha. If you got any fry of schooling fish or plants tell me because Im in need of either both
