Looks like some type of barb. What color is it?

Grey or silver with black stripes. 3-4 inches. It's at the doctors office. I pride myself on being able to ID fish but I don't know this one.

Looks like a Spanner Barb (Puntius laterstriga) which is a larger species of barb.

They get big and cam be obnoxious towards other fish. I had to rehome three I had in my 75 gallon. They wouldn't let anybody else eat.

Barbs... do that. They're great as dithers for mid-sized cichlids but not much else, unless it's a biotope species tank.
