What do you prefer Low Tech or High Tech?

I still think a properly done co2 tank looks better than most of those.. just ur personal opinion

Like i said in my post.. you can't have a lot of really high demanding plants and get the same color or growth from low tech..

Sure some of those low tech's look great, but the best ones are filled with easy growing plants that don't require a whole lot.. Most of them dosing excel have a much better look. Co2 just rids me of the headache of algae problems as it can come up quick in low tech

According to Tom Barr's reports most Co2 tanks can grow 15 times faster than no co2, which is what i prefer as well

I also have both set-ups and love the experiences of learning which plants will grow in the different set-ups!! And for the plants that thrive in both... it's amazing, how different they can grow!

Once I tweaked my lights I had no more problems with algae. Now increased lights with the addition of a T8 to T5NO and starting to have problems. Thus got tweak it.

Got signs of BBA thus lowering the light time and adding a siesta time. This is what worked when I had it 2years ago.

When I had algae problems I did the same thing lowered the photoperiod and raised the light fixture.
