Mystery plant, need ID

So I've been doing a dry start for 8 weeks in my 8g with HC. Well during the last couple weeks I noticed this mystery plant looking thing growing as well. Now I flooded my tank today and it is still there. Should I remove it? What is it? Here is a pic of it...

Umm, not sure what you're talking about, that's all HC.

Here we go, I zoomed in and circled it now. It's the stuff that looks spiky sticking out of the aquasoil.

I have the same hitchhiker in my tank. It's spreading VERY slowly on a rock. It is covering like a moss but is spiky and has individual stems. Very compact growth.

Looks like fissidens maybe. Let it grow and see.
