Making FX5 intake shrimp friendly???

I thought about putting a mesh bag/sock over it. but that would be so unsightly.

any ideas would be great.

If you can find a stainless steel prefilter to fit that pipe diameter, you could go with that. You could also get a block of black filter foam and cut a slot in the middle of it and slide that over your intake.
