Nerite quarantining...
Picked up a few nerites today and wondering how long folks generally quarantine for and what it is you look for when you quarantine. I admit to just tossing snails in tanks in the past with no real quarantine procedure. They will be going in shrimp only and crayfish only tanks so not sure what they might carry that could transmit but thought I'd ask

Obsessed? Maybe

Snails, like anything, can come in carrying infectious bacteria or nuisances.
If you're concerned, then keep them alone for a week or two and observe them. If all looks well and there's nothing visibly awry, move them into your tank.

I knew they could carry leeches, wasn't sure about anything else though. Will quarantine for a week or more. Thanks Jake!
