Clear PVC CO2 reactor length?
I'm going to combine two 20" long, 3" pvc reactors into a single 4" clear pvc reactor. It seems like most all the co2 is dissolving with the current setup. Does anyone have any thoughts on how long the new reactor should be? I'm thinking about 36" based on having an inch wider diameter but that seems awful big. Thanks.

i just built a clear 24 inch pvc reactor, searched for clear schedule 40 pvc. The diameter is 2 inch. Cost 30$ total just for the piece... Running on an eheim 800gph pump, I have to put the reactor at a severe angle to get full dissolving of CO2. Your thoughts on 36 inch, with a large diameter are spot on. BIGGER THE BETTER! Hope this helps.
