Another Betta and Shrimp quest
Anyone keep ghost shrimp with a single delta tail female betta?
Tank temp is 80F, with low hardness/alkanity, heavily planted with wisteria & ludwigia, lotus, and some riparium plants(spider, anthurium, etc). Any recommended setup parameters? |

Some people do and most have no issues, but it depends on the personality of the individual Betta. I put a juvenile rcs in with mine and they are fine.

That red stem in the jar is gorgeous!
Could you please tell me what it is? Also, great plants but I wanna see your betta, too! |

worst case scenario is your betta gets a fancy meal.

I have a male crowntail betta in a tank with a burgeoning population of CBS. I see him harrass the ramshorn snails all the time (they seem to really tick him off when they dare to climb the glass), but he completely ignores the shrimp as far as I can tell.
