Good pruning scissors for nano tank?

I find I am constantly having to cut back leaves in my 2.5 gallon tanks because the plants overgrow the space. I have been using just a normal office scissors or kitchen shears but it would be nice to find something long handled, with just an inch or two of cutting blades on the end. Ideas?

i have small tanks too and the straight scissors are killer to work with in such a small space.
