tyttocharax...
so i was recently introduced to this genus of fish by a friend, and am absolutely smitten by them. based on their mouth shape, i have no doubt that they are fin-nippers, and at max sizes of 2 cm, they seem to make very excellent nano fish. anybody have experience with these buggers? will they be compatible with other fish such as micro-rasboras? would love having a sea of red and blue swimming around.
here are some photos of some impressive specimens:

all i know is that they are a characid found in the amazon basin, in shallow blackwater habitats with slow flow. but that's pretty much all i know.
