Jungle val melting


I have had jungle val in my high light co2 tank for a month and a half now, and the new growth just seems to melt away. anyone know why??

maybe root rot. if you crushed your roots when planting your vallis, you will find black/brown rot on the roots when you remove it from your tank. U have to cut it off and trim back your heathy roots a little before gently replanting. Also, remove dying leaves from your vallis. they will encourage rotting, and unbalance your nitrate cycle

They are shooting new runners like crazy. The leaves at the top of the water are brown.

Tank parameters (Temp, pH, KH, NO3, Photoperiod, Percent/Frequency of Water Changes) and dosing regime (Macros, Micros, Trace) may be helpful. Also, are you dosing Excel at all?
