Just curious...

Are there any videos of a berried shrimp actually releasing her newborns? If If If so, could you share them? Thanks

That would be awesome to see. Most of mine release at night in the safety of the moss. So It would be damn near impossible to get a good video. I was lucky enough to spot one of my SSS CRS molting the other day. Unfortunately it happened so quickly I didnt have time to video it. I started to notice cracks in the shell when all of the sudden he arched his back and jumped right out through the head region. I was stunned. lol

I've always missed it too. Had one that was giving birth during the day but she was hiding enough that I couldn't see her to get any pics, just babies coming out from where she was hiding and within a few hours there was 20 CRS babies there.

Well, that's the luckiest anyone's ever gotten so far.

Here shes was but she moved after that but she just starting to drop them here. You can see a baby crawling out.

Here she moved more under the leaf and it was harder to get a pic but you can spot one of the babies on the leaf just crawling out.

Few pics of babies that are only minutes old. They're red and white, it's like playing where's Waldo. lol.

Here she is with her swimmerettes empty coming out again all exhausted.

It's always exciting to see babies. I only saw one female ghost shrimp release her babies, she was swimming around a lot, and then babies started flying out from under her. It was kind of funny to watch.
