50 g breeder?

Can a 50g breeder make a good low tech tank? Mine currently houses my RRS. i am thinking of selling the piranha and using the tank to grow out my two sunshine plecos a bit. I wouldn't mind planting the tank. The lighting on it is two 36 inches fixtures both with two bulbs (think T 8? what ever comes with the tank). thanks

A 50g breeder is only an inch taller than a 40g breeder which holds more than 40g. its about 48 gallons.

It can certainly make a good low tech tank. Mine is a 65 gallon, which is 8 inches higher than a 40B and it works great as a low tech tank.
