Planted Tank Obsessed
|
Well, I'm a semester away from graduation, it would be stupid to just quit three credits away from a degree
I'm mostly wary of applying to be a barista or any sort of short-order cook/fast food employee, because I did that for my first two years at uni, in the school cafeteria, and I was completely and utterly miserable. I'm slightly happier at my current job, which is still dealing with customer service, but at least I don't come home reeking of fried chicken every night. Eventually, if it becomes a choice between unemployment and working at McDonalds, I'll take McDonalds, but right now, I'm making rent and I'm not starving, so I'll deal... God help me if I get sick or something, though... I keep gazing longingly at craigslist ads for receptionists and such at spas, where I could dress up nicely and sit for most of the day, but most of my classes are during "working hours", so that's not really feasible. I browse cl a lot lately, actually, under jobs and gigs. So many of the opportunities for young women require photographs, though. I have no idea why.

"You're not putting a hundred gallon tank in the living room," my roommate replied. 10g "Community" of nothing but Danios - 2g (barely) planted Betta - 2.5g Betta - 1g Pond Snail Repository My aquascape style tends towards 'tall in the back, short in the front, lots and lots of green and stuff. And maybe a rock somewhere...' |
