My 75G TALL one.

So ive had this tank now for a very long time and ive finally started updating it some. This tank started out with some hand me down anubis and java fern trimmings from a friend about 10 years back. about 2 months ago i added a pressurized Co2 setup and some fancy shmancy glassware.

The tank inhabits a school of black neons, a school of rasboras, a school of rummy nose tetras, 8 otos, 3 amano shrimp, unknown amount of RCS, and a few ghost shrimp.

anyhow this is just a intro post and ill be updating as this tank comes along, as im giving it much more attention these days then i have for the past years.

Here is what the tank looks like now.

Tank Setup Specs:
SMS plex 75 Gallon. 30" tall 48" wide 13 deep
simple sand bottom, Just added fert sticks for the first time the other week. Sand does have 8 years of bio build up in it. And so far just about anything ive put into it grows
Fluval 404
DoAqua intake pipe 17mm intake
Flo 13mm outlet lili pipe
Pressurized CO setup GLA Ideal custom regulator
Cal Aqua inline diffuser
Cal aqua drop checker
Unknown heater (bought it so long ago just glad ive never had issues with it)

Lighting:
Home built hood with T5 retrofit 39w X 4 Tek reflectors
two stage. 2 bulbs for 8 hours other two come on for a mid day blast of 5 hours.

Ferts:
have been dosing
flourish
and flourish excel
but will be switching to EI here in Jan 09

Here is a update to this one.

I just built a new lid for it and updated the lighting.

some new plants as well, things are growing quite well with the new lighting.

Some sand i picked up form a LFS years back. dont know much about it really.

thanks Craig yeah I'm a huge fan of the calaqua inline diffusers. cleaning cycles are so much longer then a normal style diffuser.

Here are some shots i took today of the RCS in the tank. Still working on my aquarium photo skills. Took 20 shots, these 3 were the only that were worth sharing.

The RCS finally starting propagating. There are quite a few babies in the tank at this point, hard to capture on camera though.
