My 36 gallon community tank has about a dozen Amanos and a bunch of RCS (which are breeding!

) I think they get along with the fish as it is heavily planted, and there is a shrimp friendly 'cave' system some cholla wood to hide in. (Shine a flashlight in the caves and it is shrimp city in there!)
The adult RCS are always out and about, the Amano's make an appearance - especially 2 HUGE ones I got from msjinkzd.
But on water change day - the larger Amano's go just NUTS on any wood that was in the air during the WC! (you can see the way the wood sticks up in the pics in my sig) They'll stay up there for the rest of the day, checking out every inch of wood and anubias that was exposed to air during maintenance.
Not sure what could possibly be growing there in the the 30 minutes or so it is not under water, but it is fun to watch
