What size FugeRay

I have a 12 gallon long I just setup in my bookshelf.

Was mainly looking at the fugerays for lighting as this is just going to be a moss and shrimp+oto/cory tank so I do not need high or even really medium lighting I guess.

It's a 35.4 x 8.3 x 9.4 inch tank so I was initially thinking of the 36" fugeray but at the same time I was also possibly thinking of getting the 30" and hanging it from the shelf above the tank since I'm not sure I need the extra light a 36" puts out.

Advice/suggestions/comments?

I think if you fix the LED's to the bottom of the shelves above the tank, the 30" will be fine in terms of light output. If you are doing moss only, better lower light than too much. Just make sure to add plenty of moss.

Also, please please please put a thin acrylic sheet or even a piece of glass or something underneath the tank to support that gap in the middle before filling it up.

Oh yes, that tank will crack if you don't support that gap!

Just to make people happy I shoved some acrylic under there, it's supporting pretty much no weight. I had a 10gal in there for almost a year with no worries, this tank has an even thicker base at half and inch so I was not worried. I even further propped it up with a piece of wood.

Also what's the height of the fugeray with the legs it comes with? The measurements I've seen thus far only say 1" which seems small to include both the light and legs.
