ive had my 29g Bow front sitting fishless after the temps in my area got to 104 one day and brought my tank up 14 degrees in about 8 hours so my puffer was a goner. after Ive watched a lot of these tank journals, learned much from them and my own errors and now i think I'm ready to put forth a tank endeavor worthy of this site. but yet this is still a learning experience which is the part of the hobby i enjoy.

I don't know how steep your hill is. It might help to use a couple of rocks as a retaining wall... then stack a couple of rocks on top of the. Your plants will eventually hide the lower retaining wall rocks. That will keep your hill from sliding down. Just a thought.

Ive decided to just do a carpet of two leafed pearlweed. it seems like a good starting point for an aquascaper.so it will be light green of the pearlweed to the Dark green of the Anubius to the bright of the water wisteria and maybe some kind of moss on the branches not sure yet. i believe it will look good what do yall think?

Much better.

Is two-leafed pearlweed different from regular pearlweed?

Finally an update :P the DSM is going great and im really working on my final plant selection now. what yall think?

Ive added Mini P to the driftwood and fastened the anubius petite to the rocks and ive descided to go with needle leaf java fern behind and threw the wood. i will be pulling the water wisteria out when i fill the tank so it will help cycle the tank.

I have ordered my new t5ho light from fishneedit.com got my regulator all built waiting on the co2 tank.. now its on to the stocking list.

I know i want to go with CPD and RCS and oto cats but im not sure how many or if i want to add treadfin rainbows to my list as well..

my starting list looks like

25 Rcs
15? CPD
4 Oto cats
5 Threadfins (or more CPDs :P)

any suggestions?
