Prime vs. AquaSafe?

I just ran out of Wardley Essentials Chlor-out right when I needed to change water and was wondering which is better, SeaChem Prime or Tetra AquaSafe.

If they are in stock I can get Prime at Petco or AquaSafe at Walmart.

FYI, this is for RCS.

Almost forgot to mention that the local newspaper mentioned the city water is using chloramines now.

It doesn't matter, since they all work the same. Just pick the cheapest one.

When you pick the cheapest one be sure to factor in the dosage sizes. Prime is cheap because you only need to use 1 ml per 10 gallons of water. Another one I used years ago needed about 10X that dosage, making it much more costly even though the bottle was cheaper to buy.

Prime and Chloramine Buster are the cheapest (including the dosage factor).
Look at some on-line pricing, and see if you want to order other things at the same time to get better use of the cost of shipping.

There are dry forms, too, cheaper shipping when you are not paying for shipping water.

+1 just read about the dry form being more concentrated and cost effective. Just have to apply the correct dosage per application. Same concept as using dry ferts.
