Today Aqua Design Amano just released the AQUASKY for the 60-P and 45-P (or Mini L) today!

ADA releases new LED lighting systems, AQUASKY 451, AQUASKY 601 & AQUASKY 602,
for larger size planted aquariums. They were developed for providing enough
light intensity for plant growth while requiring less power consumption and
improving cost performance. For a 60cm wide aquarium, you have choice of
AQUASKY 601 (Single light type) and AQUASKY 602 (Twin light type). You can
install maximum of 3 LED lamps (AQUASKY 601 x 1, AQUASKY 602 x 1) to a 60cm
aquarium tank.
Fall is just around the corner. It's one of the best seasons to start up a new
layout with a new lighting system, AQUASKY!

W45 x D24 x H16 (cm) glass thickness 5mm

W45 x D27 x H30 (cm) glass thickness 5mm
** AQUASKY 451 is NOT compatible to ADA Cube Garden / Cube Glass with glass thickness 6mm.

AQUASKY 601 & AQUASKY 602 are compatible to ADA Cube Garden / Cube Glass in the following sizes:
W60 x D30 x H18 (cm) glass thickness 5mm
W60 x D30 x H36 (cm) glass thickness 6mm
W60 x D30 x H45 (cm) glass thickness 6mm
Waterfall W60 x D45 x H45 (cm) glass thickness 6mm
** AQUASKY 601 and 602 are NOT compatible to ADA Cube Garden / Cube Glass with glass thickness 8mm.

The image shown is an aquarium 2 month after installing AQUASKY 602 (Twin light type). AQUASKY 602 gives plenty of light for stem plants and undergrowth plants.

All AQUASKY LED lights (30, 36cm, 451, 601, 602) ship for free in the lower 48. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is pro-rated. For Alaska, we recommend shopping at Alaska Coral and Fish, since otherwise shipping averages around $80-120.

Not bad for the 45cm, I was expecting $250-$350. I believe this is ADA's first dedicated 45cm lighting system. For that alone it is worth it lol.

We have these lights coming in with our next shipment due to arrive in November. due to size, it's not very economical to bring in via air freight - but so far the data from Japan has been impeccable.

I'll post some chart information about the AQUASKY LED formula sooner or later - it's really one of the most awesome lights I've ever seen.
