Overdose on Purigen ?
Might sound a silly question but i thought id ask just incase. If i place 3 bags of purigen in a XP-3 on a 75 gallon will there be any side effects ? It says 1 bag is enough for 100 gallons. I have 3 bags i regenerated and was just going to place them in the one filter.

From what I understand of Purigen, it does not add anything to the water chemistry, so no you can't overdose with it.
Instead of adding all three pouches to the canister at once, why not add one and keep the other two in a RO / Prime water Solution and rotate out a clean pouch every time you service your canister. I try to keep some Purigen recycled / recharged ready to go into my canisters. I always have some in some state of cleaning; cleaning the tank, being cleaned, or ready to clean. Mark |

+1 for Mstamper's post. Use one - keep two on hand.
Eventually all the water will come in contact with it after an hour.
