African cichlids

hi i have an african cichlid tank holding peacocks and haps, i was just wondering if anyone here could suggest some good plant species for the tank?

My peacock likes to eat water sprite and duckweed. Good old amazon swords are left alone. Aponogetons are too brittle. Ludwigia sp. and creeping jenny fare well against them.

Im sure the easy crypts would do just fine because of how deep they root. Vals should do just as fine.

Mine destroy mosses.. what a mess..
