Hi Szenic, I can get more in next week but will take about 3-4 weeks before we can sell. It gives us time to quarantine and make them nice a fat so they make the trip!

dogfish, I am 99% sure we do but can't give you a sure answer as I'm not in the warehouse right now and I won't be bagging/shipping your fish. When put in your order to info@aquadesigninnovations.com or make your payment, please include it in the message area of paypal your special requests and the shipping team will try to fulfill your requests. No promises though. I hope you understand!

I'm in no hurry on this one. I have two LFS looking for a male for me also. Obviously, I don't want to end up with 3 females. In this sp. the males have the bright blue stripe. I'm O.K. with your Min. Order two as that improves my odds on having a healthy pair. Once you can confirm for me, I'll put in an order for two and 12 Amano shrimp. I try my best to support the site sponsors, I appreciate your helping to keep the forum going. Thank you in advance for the extra effort! MALE ![]() FEMALE (mine)

Han - They do well in a mature heavily planted tank. Don't bother the cherry shrimp. Might eat newborn shrimpers ? Mostly they are algae eaters. Love sinking algae wafters and eat Seaweed sheets(look like Nori wraps).

It's confirmed, we do have males and females! but our males look nothing like the ones in your pictures just yet. I put a few in a planted tank and they started looking like these: http://www.gophoto.it/view.php?i=htt...g#.UJcDQ8XA_2s
but the ones from the quarantine tank, their colors haven't shown just yet. Don't want you to be disappointed when you get a fish that doesn't look exactly like your picture! |

Kevin - I do appreciate the extra effort. I don't want to disappointed either as I have hopes to get them to breed. So, for now I'll hold off.

I was wondering if you can give me more info on the scarlet badis on feeding and care and are they ok with cpds. As soon as i sell my cichlids (hopefully this week) i want to turn it into a planted tank for a group of cpds and badis and i will need plants and snails as well.
thanks |

CPDs do well with scarlet badis in planted tanks. We keep them together here. Scarlet badis and CPDs can be picky at times with food. The ones we got here are trained to eat flakes but no nearly as readily as most tetras or rasboras.
How much/ what type of lighting are you keeping on the tank? CO2? I'd suggest lots of co2 and minimal but GOOD lighting. Let us know how we can help. We've made plenty of mistakes and would be happy to help you out avoiding them! |

CO2 is for plants. It doesn't do much for fish besides lowering pH a bit but many other things can do that.

As long as pH is between 6-8, most of the fish will adjust as they're almost all farmed. Wild ones are a bit more picky.
