Mixing new amz aquasoil with 2 month old aquasoil?

Im currently doing the Dry start method. I have amazonia aquasoil normal sized granules.
It's been established for about 3 months with DSM. And has some Baby tears here and there.
I've read that smaller granules (aquasoil powder granules) are better for Baby tears. Is it alright to mix
new aqauasoil with already established aquasoil?

There shouldn't be a problem, but you'd have to go through another ammonia cycle.

Go for it. The old might absorb some extra stuff form the old.
