Anyone from Alaska still on here?

People seem to come and go.... I'm still on here. Who else?

I'm also looking at maybe starting up a plant swap depending on how much interest there is. let me know!

I'm curious, fish tanks in Alaska?

you must be heavily reliant on heaters.

House stays pretty warm during the winter. I don't have heaters on a couple of my tanks and they do just fine.

... I forgot most people have their tanks inside their houses.

I keep all mine in my garage, if I had a garage in Alaska I'd need a heater for every tank.

I have heard that fish tanks are pretty popular in Alaska. The winter is so long, cold and dark that it helps to liven up the home or office to have aquariums.

I just started working at ACF again on a normal bases and Tim said that Logan is moving or something ands been really busy or something so idk..

I wouldn't say fish tanks are super popular around here but there's enough to keep a fish store in business. We have one store for the majority of the state...

It's been 3 years this summer.
Came here from LA, and before that, originally - from Russia
