Methylene blue disposal

After you have given a fish a bath in methylene blue, what do you do with the methylene blue water? WE have a septic system. Is it safe to put it down the drain?

If your county/municipality has a hazmat dump, use that instead. (Most of them have a place to dump motor oil)

There's a slight chance that it would kill your septic tank's ability to break down organic solids through anaerobic digestion, but it's more likely to leach into your septic field's ground water and eventually wind up in someone's well.
