Just Another 20
Hello!
So I have been a lurker for a long time. Here is my tank finally. Nothing too special. Eheim 2213 (adding an AC50) Zoomed T5NO Paintball CO2 A bunch of endlers 1 Amano Some RCS 3 otos It has kind of just been a dumping ground for plants and no real organization yet. that's a beautiful tank setup. Love the hanging light fixture. I am a fan of the 20 high tank dimensions and have two myself. As the plants grow and fill in, you'll get a feel for how things can be shifted and rearranged. its a living masterpiece ... good luck!

Thank you! It has been a very slow process of slowly turning semi high tech. It is getting a major trim back today. Need to get rid of most of those floaters.

Well, you look like you've transitioned the tank really well! Nice job. The plant is potomageton gayi-- and it looks super nice if you make it into a dense bush.

I knew it was a "p" haha, any hints on how to make it bushier? It had been struggling for the past year and has finally took hold yay :]
Everything on this site has been so helpful! Most of the plants were RAOK's that I received so I have tried to return the favors to others a couple times. My floaters Hygroryza aristata have gotten a little out of hand. I did a trim with some rearrangement today so will post updates tomorrow. My GH is rather low but pH is high, any recommendations? I have had a few RCS deaths recently which is new and I think it is a molting and calcium issue. I know if I search the forum and really dig I will find the answers but everything I have seen so far isn't really definite and I am a very inside the box thinker and kinda need things very clearly spilled out for me, so any help would be great. Thanks! |

PS I know the skinny dipping sign is tacky but it makes me laugh and I live wayyyyyy out in the country so skinny dipping is kinda a passage of rights around here and the most common criminal offense hehe along with cow tipping (which I do NOT condone) as I work on a farm.

Sooo yeah really neglected this thread. But! Having just won an amazing RAOK (thanks speedie!) I should prolly pay a little more attention to it.
Now, I need to get this ready to receive some amazing neos. First is relocate the endlers: check! Now I need to decide what to do about CO2. Currently this tank is injected via pb. Not sure if I should keep it or not. If I don't then it seems I may run into problems with my lighting. So all in all. Advice?!?! Oh yeah will post current shot in AM. Thanks! The "driftwood" in the 2.5 is actually a decoration but hey just making due with what I got. Stupid school! I just tied a ton of xmas moss to it so hopefully it will cover it.

So had to catch all the endlers that were in there. Talk about a NIGHTMARE! But it let me rescape
