CRS shrimpmates?


at first i was planning to do a crs tank shared with neos, but as the tank was cycling i decided to make it a caridina only tank because my water parameters are favor crs and not so much with neos. so right now I have a 20L tank up and going with 4 crs s. I also ordered 10 crs ss should be here monday.

question is i wanted to have some fun with my tank and want try to make some hybrids. i might start culling if the tank fills up but my main goal is to just make a massive colony so i proabably wont cull for a while. This is my only shrimp tank and I don't have the room to set up another tank for selective breeding. Are there any shrimp i could throw in that will breed with crs and give me some cool outcomes down the road? remember i wont be selective breeding. you guys think if i threw a couple lower grade tibees along in there would it be a waste of money?

i would so hold off on tibees. you could always make your own though they are just crystal reds and blacks crossed with tiger shrimp. although from my keeping both types tigers tend to like a little higher ph than the crystal shrimp do

you should keep them with red tigers. they actually look nice!

so do a tank with crs/cbs and red tigers.
