Resurrecting an older 75 Gallon
Hi All,
I've recently gotten back into the hobby after a long hiatus of over 15 years. I still have my 75 gallon tank and luckily it still held water and no leaks so far. It's been up for 6 weeks now and completed the cycle. It's a low budget low tech setup with the original gravel and filters from before. My setup is listed below. Full shot of the tank ![]() Equipment -- 75 gallon All-Glass Aquarium (I don't know when the name changed to Aqueon but I know mine is an All-Glass) -- Emperor 400 (Broken impeller waiting on new replacement) -- AquaTech 30-60 (Soon to be replaced with new Emperor 400 and this will be moving to a 29 or 45. Have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised at how quiet this filter is after sitting for so long.) -- 2 - 4' shoplight fixtures mounted in a wooden hood with new 32w T8 6700K bulbs -- Mix of aquarium specific gravel and store bought 3/8" Pea Gravel Inhabitants 8 - Harlequin Rasboras (Trigonostigma heteromorpha) 8 - Scissortail Rasboras (Rasbora trilineata) 8 - Neon Tetra (Paracheirodon innesi) 5 - Black Neon Tetra (Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi) 8 - Glowlight Tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) 1 - Otocinclus Anacharis Rotala Indica Myriophyllum Tuberculatum Waiting for positive ID for the following Blue Hygro? Narrow Leaf Hygro? Amazon Sword? Brazilian Sword? Last edited by X3inchesx; 10-04-2012 at 09:20 PM.. Reason: corrected the Myrio species |
