What would be the best way to replicate a RES in nature?

Show me your RES tank pics that are natural!

sandy/muddy bottom with wood for them to come out of.
I think this is a pretty good idea of natural slider tank http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/sh...712&highlight=
It hasn't been updated in awhile but you get the idea.
