R/O water (50 %) and 50 % tap planted tank?
I recently made a switch to 50% R/O water 50 % tap to fit the needs of some Crystal Red Shrimp.. I decided not to order the shrimp. I later got some Endlers livebearers. Can these fish or other fish, live with 50 % r/o water?

yup although livebearers prefer harder water. I'd get softwater fishes like apistos, tetras, cories, rasboras etc....

I kept guppies in pure r.o water for a long time and they bred and did just fine with it.

Endlers will handle a wide range of water parameters.
Without knowing what 'tap water' is, there is no way of knowing which fish are best suited. What is the GH, KH, TDS and pH of the tap and of the 50/50 blend? |
