I once had a python who was an escape artist. He wasn't mine, exactly--he belonged to a roommate, but we all took care of him. He was an enormous snake--I could barely hold him up when he was wrapped around my shoulders and waist. I can't even hazard a guess as to how much he weighed.
One day we're all chillin' in the living room, watching tv, drinking beers like college kids do, and we hear *thumpTHUMPthumpitythumpTHUMP*. Turns out Corona had escaped from his giant tank and decided to go for a slither. Somehow, in a very ungraceful and unsnakelike manner, he managed to fall down the stairs. On another occasion we found him wrapped up in a huge fake tree that resided in the living room. There was a baby albino python in the house, too. I used to wear him to lecture on warm days. He liked being a bracelet and a hair accessory the most. |

We had a cornsnake escape on us when we lived in another house. I was in the next room and all of a sudden I hear my wife call me in that shrill emergency voice. I ran into the room to see the juvie corn wrapped around our cockatiel bird in it's cage. I hurridly unwrapped the juvie by the tail and the bird was fine, albeit a bit shaken up.
Before I met my wife, I had my ball python at my girlfriend's apt, and he decided to play houdini. Unfortunately she had to leave that weekend due to the lease being up. I always wondered what happened to that snake...and the new leasers who may have found that 4 foot long thang in their apt!

Joose is a jemfire red/cawley red/orange.
His daddy ![]() His mommy ![]() Fiona is 50% Citrus and 50% Red. Sister to Bricky of Draggin Tails Inc in Florida. Her daddy ![]() Her mommy (sorry bad picture. It's really small :-/) ![]() Her sister Bricky ![]() ![]() Sick girl is a red by G&M dragons of California. I guess they are claiming their own red. The two headed is citrus and ghost face is a normal. I had some Dragon's Den sand fire but didn't like them. They didn't color up very well after 3 months so traded them for Sick Girl. Yay! A reptile sub-forum - look at all those beautiful beardies! I have 2 leopard geckos, Aragorn and Arwen, and a bearded dragon named Zelda. I don't have many pics of the geckos, but they look like leopard geckos and here's a pic of Zelda on my Australian Shepherd Dusty. They're both Australian, I figured, so why not? No beardies or dogs were harmed in creating this picture.
I've had blue-tongued skinks (my girl had 3 babies - live babies - they don't lay eggs - just running around the cage one day), leaf-tailed geckos (so very cool, they bred too), and veiled chameleons, but I'd have to say the beardie is my favorite

About 5 inches. Has been that size since I got him. Eats blood worms maybe once a week. The tank is so established I think he finds other critters to snack on in between meals.
