NY hits a milestone
We have surpassed 10000 posts today with a significant lead ahead of all other state sub-forums.
*high fives* everyone! Now lets get the next meet going

People let me know if there is ever a western New York meet. I'd be happy to travel between buffalo, Rochester, Olean, ect.
From MABJ's iPhone 2G Fluval Spec ~ fauna and flora in the works!

Being that NY has the most populated city in the US (NYC) and majority of the posts in the NY forum is from NYC residents....I'd say statistically speaking we were bound to reach this landmark before the others.

I think the flood of posts started to come in after the first swap meet and after everyone got to know each other. Anyways, new thread for plans for the November meetup?

Anyone else care to organize the next meet or shall I?
Change of venue or shall we keep it the same but include food? There's a restaurant four blocks south of aquastar where one chooses four items and a soup for $3.75. There's plenty of seats there that would certainly fit a rowdy group like us. We could consider a tour of the jersey lfs between rt4, rt17 and 46 (absolutely fish) or checkout Greenwich,ct provided we have rides for everyone. I'm planning to goto the new Ada store in ridge wood, nj tomorrow midday. Hope its worth the trip...

Meanwhile, CT has had maybe one new thread. Told you guys there was a reason I came all the way from CT ...
The Greenwich stores are heavy on the saltwater side, just FYI. Stunning displays but stuff is also quite pricey. I thought we were meeting in New Rochelle in November, did that change? |
