I'll be in Philly for two nights and I was wondering what kind of LFS's I should visit? Gimme the best ones you got!

Aquarium center is good, hidden reef in levittown in nice / huge, about 25 mins north of center city, theres another nice place in lancaster, its name slips my mind rite now, but that place is suposed to b awsome but its rather far. I think 2 hours away.
Ahhh its that pet place i think? Captian nemos in norristown was awsome but i hear it changed over to a petco or some other chain and kinda sucks now compared to what it was. Besides that there aint much out here to c aquarium store wise. Good food, yea lots of that. Good bars everywhere, tons of historical stuff to c, china town is cool. Lots and lots of stuff to do in philly Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using Tapatalk 2 |

Fish stores you want to visit:
1. Captain Nemos - Norristown PA: yes someone else owns it now old owner passed away with cancer. Its not the same, but still have good stuff. Prices might be jacked up a bit. 2. Monster Fishstore (forgot the name) - Columbus Blvd i think is the street (near ikea) 3. Aquarium store that discusonly is talking about is def worth the trip if your into monster fish. - around 7th/tasker street. (or was it 6th?) Google those 3 places (they are all in the philly area, Captain nemos is further from the other two) 4. Bill's aquarium. <--- LOL!

Also if u happen to be NE of philly theres a nice fish store near REDLION / BESTBUY. I forgot what the names called PET something. I once bought a jardini arrowana there for like 12 bucks cause the guy had no idea what price it was...they have nice tank selection...plant wise varies and fish wise usually okay. nice big store

haha when i mention these stores this was 2 years ago when i use to live in philly. They were always fun stores for me to go to i never had any problems with world wide pets. As for Pet plus i always found something neat there...
Its just nicer cause in harrisburg u have nothing but That fish place which is in lancaster...i rely on my trusty petsmart for 1 dollar fish :P

Pets plus has some nice reptiles sometimes. They have that shallow cube that overflows on it self (used to look awsome full of coral, now not so much but still an awsome tank.) And they usually have some neat, odd center piece tank. There fish room goes back and forth with quality.
I like there feeder mice cuz there clean, never had mites from there, they go thru them so fast there they never have time to get un-healthy. Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using Tapatalk 2 |

2.) Monster pets, heard nothing but negative things about their stock. 3.) Giant Aquarium. if van says it's cool, then it is definitely cool 4.) AWESOME PLACE!!! great plants! nice inventory!! but, then again, i MAY be biased 5.) pets plus -red lion/blvd. CRAP. never seen so many dead animals in a pet store before. but seriously, in center city, there's not much around. at least not for planted tank folk.
