They reopened as Sucess Aquarium. I checked them out 2 days ago. Only 1/3 or 1/4 of the tanks have fish inside. I was informed they will continue the tradition of blue gold and bring in discus shipments.

Sweet. I'll have to check them out in a few weeks.

Alright so I ended up going. It's on Whitney Avenue just off of Broadway.

Definitely still a bit sparse looking inside. Selection of some dry goods - some tanks, food, substrates, various supplements. Only a few fish here and there, no inverts or plants yet. A good amount of their tanks look to still be empty, but cycling, which I think is a good sign.

They are expecting to be able to start stocking more heavily in the next 2-3 weeks, so I'll go back around the end of the month. Place is very clean and organized and I sure hope it stays that way!

Thank you for reporting back and being our eyes and ears. Hopefully this turns into a gem worth visiting in the near future.
