good pt....I had the Barc Long on the right but it ran out of room. The Giant Hygro was more left and moved it to the center...will think about moving them around in a couple of days. FUN FUN FUN

One of my Florida Flag fish....I like these guys...have alot of character...they acutally hang with my german blue rams sometimes...other times they chase each other!

Just two pics from the tank taken this morning....will learn photoshop techniques here this week hopefully seeing that I am laid up.....the airstone is temporary while treating for ich....had the temps up for 10 days now in the 88+ realm will start reducing here tomorrow.

I love the giant hygro's Mike, they are doing great in there. I wish they had grown like that for me they are a beautiful plant....
In my case, what the angels didnt shred just faded away ! :cry:

Maybe consider a stem or 2 of that towards the right side for that leaf size balance that you and anonapersona were talkin bout...

Lookin good Mike and dont worry, at 88 degrees that ICH will be gone in no time...

I am thinking about putting perhaps a lotus or something over there...do you want any Giant Hygro? Seriously I have that stuff growing like friggin weeds...I either sell it to LFS or chuck it....you are more than welcome to it if ya like just let me know...I will have to chuck some here in the next week just to keep the light levels ok in the tank for the glosso marcel sent me.

Geez, I wish I'd been keeping tabs on this thread all this time. Mike, how's the barclaya doing? In my and other locals' experience, they promptly drop their leaves after flowering. Is it holding up okay? Green or red it is one of my favorite plants and one that doesn't get enough recognition as a centerpiece plant, IMO.

The Barc is doing AWESOME to say the least! I will try to put some photos in here today. The flower stalks run to the surface every few days or so. At the bottom there are tons of smaller leaf groups that are BEGGING to be sent to the surface. I got this plant from Roger Miller here in town and it has just taken off! The Giant Hygro stems are kinda blocking it here. Roger thinks that I should be able to propagate it once those little plantlets take off a bit more. It truly is a great plant!

That barclaya is definately a beauty though, I think it looks nice mixed in with the large leaves of the hygro !

GO SOX! Well they pulled it off in a typical New England fashion .... down to the wire...I have no fingernails left!...LOL...

Anyhow I will be removing those Giant's and sending them to Wellbiz and Russ and anyone else who bites tonight or tomorrow. I am getting some lotus (loti? plural?) from Wellbiz and will be rearranging this week....

More pics to come! Ohh almost forgot getting some sunset hygro from GCA as well this week! man this tank is gonna be rockin soon!

The plant on the left is Barclaya longifolia....I think the common name is orchid lily but not sure. This is one of my favorite plants.
