Ed or someone should take lead for gathering at the mall. Those new to Flushing, the basement of the New World Mall is a large Chinese food court.

Dine for 25-30 minutes, pickup tea/coffee then walk over to the garden. Hoping to meet Msjinkzd in advance of the event.

Remember there will be an aqua auction that evening so bring some $.

There is a municipal parking lot entrance at the base of the first lamp post for those coming by car.. See photo below

Fortunately, there arent that many apartments by the park so chances are pretty fair for parking. Just be mindful of the one way streets which make you go a big loop to come around.

Your best bet would be the municipal parking lot right next to chao zhao, and then just walking to the botanical gardens. ~10min walk

For the new people who didnt go to the last meet, who or what should we be looking for? And is the dinner still at chao zhao or the food court at new world mall?

Like heartnet said, if you park there, we can walk over to the event together.

Plug these coordinates (40.758119,-73.829847) into Google maps for an overhead view of the parking lot.

You can plot driving directions from there.
