After some more reading, I think it might be Nematodes. There are dozens of them sliming around in there...
Gonna cut back on feedings for this week and see if it helps.

Nematodes are characterized by the S shape they make when swimming in the water column.
Planaria like worms also have a name if they don't have the arrowhead. Ravensgate knows the name. I also have these.

They're so small it's hard to tell what they look like other than "wormy". I noticed a couple of longer (maybe 1") worm-like creatures in the substrate up next to the glass too. They react when I see a shrimp get near them.

Those are nematodes. If they swim they make an S shape, but they prefer the substrate. I like them a lot as they signify a healthy contained system.

I've been swamped lately, so I have barely looked at my tanks; however, there were babies everywhere in this tank this week! Still a few berried mommas too, so I think everyone is doing quite well. I've just been topping it off with the tap water at work (dechlorinated, of course) - the frogbit & duckweed are out of control in there. Going to need to RAOK some of it soon. Will try to get pictures and update my journals properly next week sometime.

Spent like 2 hours today eradicating every trace if duckweed I could find.... Hope I got it all. That stuff sucks.
While I had the plants out I tried doing a head count. I stopped around 50 (!). Most of them are pretty small still.
