So Iphone 5 Whose getting it?

Apple doesnt win every time there guy. They fear other conpanies actually making better phones, so suing is the only way apple can save themselves. The iphone gets 4 inch display and the world goes crazy. 4 inch displays has been around for awhile now and is nothing new. Apple must have forgotten that they got the touch screen tech from Samsung in the first place. Apple has only won their lawsuit cases in the U.S. and lost in every other country.

If you like tweaking, I can understand going with android, but for me, even as a techie, Apple wins every time.

Luxury? This isn't Vertu. I've had both Androids and an iPhone and never considered any as luxurious. They're just tools, not extensions of my ego.

As for doing what I expect, I expect to pick and choose among like apps, not have a single choice like a Soviet election. And no outside apps without jailbreaking? Seriously? What is this, AOL?

We all keep saying Steve jobs's leaving the company is putting it in ruins, but of I recall right, he planned out the next 6 iProducts. Some number past the iPhone 4s.

Apple will follow standards he has set, they will never disappear.

Basically Apple will end up paying their own fine because of the money Samsung will make from the chips. lol.


I wonder if Samsung can sue for making a 4" screen phone with 4G like my Galaxy S 4G?


I don't really care what people buy, it's your money. Myself, I like the ability to upgrade my battery or replace it, add in a SD card if I want to, or just being able to open the damn thing easily if need be. I want to add music to my phone, I don't need special app's that convert my MP3 to another format, I can open it like a hard drive and copy music there. I can install 3rd party apps if I choose without having to jailbreak it. If apple wasn't so closed off software/hardware wise, it would be different.

My point simply was if he planned those products out, people can't blame not liking those products on him being gone. Company policy, legal stuff, packaging, ect.. Those things can change, but his products are his products.

Just like politics, there will always be multiple differing opinions on this subject. The ultimate test for me was having my wife use both iPhone and Android. It was nonstop complaining when on Android. I even really tried to sell her on it, but it just wasn't as easy for her to use as an iPhone. Switched to iPhone and no more complaining. No more fixing things, it just works.

Same thing happened with the MacBook I purchased for her. She had an HP laptop prior running Windows 7 which was a good machine in my opinion. I was always fixing things though. She hesitantly accepted the idea of switching to Mac, and once she did she couldn't believe she didn't do it sooner. No issues, things just work and its intuitive for her to use. Trust me, my wife is not a techie and couldn't care less what she uses as long as it works right. That's the true test in my opinion, but again, it's what works for a given person.

Also, I've never had such great support from a company than from Apple. The single problem we have had was with my wife's phone and the microphone messing up. Took it into the Apple store and within 10 minutes she walked away with a new phone. No questions asked, no Apple Care, just good customer service. Sold.

It's just silly to argue specs of a PHONE. Android vs iPhone and Mac vs PC wars are so stoopid! I like what I like. I don't even drink Apple koolaid - I hate Macs (I love my Dell)...if you like them, that's cool...it's nice having choices. I do love my iPad though...blows my rooted HP Touchpad and rooted Nook Color out of the water.

The iPhone is easy to use. That's why I like it. I've had one since the 3G. I don't need a monster screen because I like to put the phone in my pocket. Yes, I'm a girl and could stick it in a purse, but...I don't always carry a purse :P

could hvae sold your old phone on ebay for prob double what gazelle paid. Those services way underpay for devices.
