GLA 6g rimless- suspended light - Which of these lights for non-co2 tank??

I recently just purchased a GLA 6g rimless tank. Dimensions are 15in x 9in x 11in.

It will be a low-tech tank with just various types of moss and simple low/medium light plants. No co2.

I am building my own stand and am looking for a hanging light figure to hang from some poles above my 6G tank. Since my tank is 11inch tall, if I were to suspend a Catalina light fixture, maybe about 6-8 inches above the tank (10-12 inches if needed), which light fixture would be best to hang over the tank?

tank is 11in tall and 15in long.

Catalina 14" single 18W Compact fluorescent

Catalina 12" single 13W Compact fluorescent

OR! since this light will be suspended at least 6 inches above my rimless tank, is that not enough light for a low/medium non-co2 tank? What about this:

Catalina 12" double 13w Compact fluorescent

Thanks all! I want this to be a simple, beautiful, rimless tank without algae problems, but want to be able to grow some plants. I prefer a hanging fixture, as I don't want anything on the rim of my tank because I also just purchased some CalAqua glass lily pipes.

i've attached it here (hopefully the attachment works).. but it's just a picture of the empty tank lol. i have a 55g planted low-tech in the background.

for the 6g so far i have/ordered
-GLA 6g rimless
-Eheim 2213 canister filter
-CalAqua glass lily pipes
-10lbs of ohko stone

this will be a low-tech tank though. no co2. just some various mosses/other low/medium light plants. i plan on getting some CRS and maybe a school of pygmy cories or other small schooling fish.

Very sharp looking tank, and your 55 in the bg looks great too.
I think some of Finnex's lights might fit, or maybe the ADA Aquasky?
Looking forward to seeing what you do with this tank, take lots of pics!

I just setup my gla 36-L and decided to go with a finnex ray 2 16". I figured out a DIY method of suspending the fixture that works for me. Check it out, i think the finnex fixture rocks!

I like the finnex also, have one on both of my tanks!

Great idea on the pygmy cities, they are funny little guys!
