Natural light bad?


I'm in process of setting up my 75 gallon. The location will receive indirect sunlight during the day. Is this going to be a problem?
How crucial is having 10 to 12 hours of absolute darkness?

You will be ok, my tanks gets indirect sun light. I run a high light tank as well
