Looking for a specific thread?
I'll start this off.
I am looking for a thread with a giant marble birdbath looking thing and the guy has it planted with a bunch of aquatic plants and it gets direct sunlight from his ceiling. From what I remember it is like 8 ft. in diameter and about 10-15" deep in the center. Can anyone help me out?

These are two that I found; not sure if it's what you're looking for though:

None of those are what I was looking for, but thank you much for posting. I've been searching for far too long.
It wasn't a tank made from glass, it was like the lotus bowl, but much much larger. From memory, I think the guy was located in Brazil or some other S. American country.

I'm still searching for the thread with no luck. Imagine a room in your house with a giant window on the ceiling so you can grow all sorts of plants indoors. Now put a giant marble bowl in the middle of the room and make that bowl into a planted tank with no filtration except for the plants and only rely on sunlight to grow them.
Also, I am looking for the thread where a guy dug out a huge pond in his yard and filled it with different aquatic plants and even hooked up a co2 system. There should be a couple pictures of him swimming in it.

Here's the one for that huge outdoor lake/pond.
