Wow...i never know nepenthes will vining like that. Thank you very much for the info. I will update you guys in there later on. Saw some mushroom growing again.

The tank was made for export which i saw in one of the tank maker factory. I knew the boss of this factory. So, got the cheaper price.

I am using the DIY misting system. I will show you the system later on...

this is a beautiful viviarium.... it is just great all the aspects are awsome... some suggestions i would make for inhabedents are...

Frogs:
green tree frogs
red eyes tree frogs
poison dart frogs (arent poisionous in captivity)

white tree frogs
local frogs?

Toads:
Fire belly toad
Maybe some local toads?

Snakes:
you could get some type of vine snake...
you could also get a green tree boa but i would be causious...
maybe some native stuff? looks like you have some neat native creatures

Lizzards;
Anoles
Day geckos those are awsome...
tokay gecos (Spelling?)
leaf gecos
There are tons more geckos and lizzards those are just a few...

Other;
salamanders. an example might be a yello spot?

hope this comes out REALLY good

Fish newb

Ps i was going to do something like this but made a fishtank instead so i know good stuff to put in it if you need any more suggestions...

Thank you very much for your suggestion. It really help me a lot... I love the Green Oriental Whip snake. It is native and just another beauty to me.

There's no such thing as a Malaysian Sarracenia unless it was introduced there somehow. Since they require dormancy I doubt they would last long anyway.

EDIT: I just realized how delayed this reponse was... I hate Threaded Mode.

Yes. There are 2 species which I bought from the flower nursery.

Need to get a recording of some birds chirping and play that while you are watching it, lol! Once you have the frogs/toads it will be a regular rainforest floor!!!

Hi Dom,
Wow, that is a very, very impressive setup. How long did you take to set it up? Did any white fungus grow when you initially set it up?

I am YC from KL as well. I have a 4' tank which I am thinking of converting it to a vivarium. Something like the one you have but it will be mainly for my orchids (phal and other species type).
Seeing your setup definitely give me more idea on what I need.

Where did you buy most of your equipment?

How often do you run the misting? Would it get too much of water accumulated at the base?

Dear all, would like to remind this is the Terrarium. Lot of members in here still thinking of it is a vivarium.

The snakes doing well. Feeding once a week. The Oriental Whip just shed last few days. Blue Bronzeback is greedy. It can grab 2 froggies within a day.
