My mini stream tank
http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...?v=ggm3zyLxYB4
Hey guys this is my 10g stream tank project. This was basically an practice run to see if it could be done. I dream of doing a 6 foot version down the road but don't have the space for another tank. Check out my new rock background rimless 20 long project too! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah sorry I was trying to get a video up but it won't upload to photo bucket or YouTube for some reason, and I can't get it onto my iPad from my phone.

Added vid as a link. Going to drop a bunch of pics of the stream tank at various stages.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there's only a very small amount of water? You have at least 5 very active fish in there, seems more than a bit cramped. Looks good otherwise

That's what I was thinking. I think the zebra danios need more space.

Thwt pic was when i first set it up. I had the same concern and moved the white clouds upstairs to my 90 shortly after that pic was taken. It currently has 2 danios only. The 2 white clouds will be going back in for the winter since they like cool temps and are better suited to the size of the tank. The danios will go upstairs to my 90g so they don't have it so bad don't worry. The tank is in my garage, the fish get a 50 percent water change with dehumidifier water almost daily. I use a drill pump for water changes so it's super easy, takes me 1 min to do a wc literally.

It's around 3 gallons when full and I only have 2 danios getting daily water changes. They seem very happy but again, they will be exchanged for white clouds shortly. Again this was meant to be just a showcase of my grand plan to create a 6 foot river tank. I wanted to see if the fish would struggle and jump to get upstream like he does in my vid and see how well the river effect works. The most important thing I did learn was that I will need a big pump! This fountain pump barely cuts it.

Thanks! I can't wait to build it! Only problem is I have a 90 gallon in my living room, a tank at work(a fluval spec now but will be that 20 long soon) and the 10g in my garage. I dont have any more room for another big tank. If someone local has a big tank and wants this done I would happily do it for the cost of supplies and beer.
