Shipping Painted Fire Reds in October?

Hullo all

Now that my 5 g tanks seem pretty well cycled (2 Amano's in one 1 female betta in the other) I am hoping to add painted fire reds in October.

Is that too late to ship shrimp?

No that is fine for shipping and if needed, heat packs can be added

Neocaridinas (and I think some Caridinas) can handle temps below freezing! It's probablt much safer than shipping in the summer heat.

Packed properly, the use of coldpacks and heatpacks have proven to work very well for me shipping shrimp in any type of extreme weather condition, especially when combined with Express shipping. With Priority there is always that 1% FAIL rate , regardless of weather.

For folks who ship without heat or cold packs, Spring and Fall are the best seasons.
