Nubster, you seem very enthusiastic about music. You seem to know what you're talking about.

I like my beats. Sorry you don't. Enjoy your troll.

I'm sorry you feel a need to condescend other people's decisions on a forum, on a thread where the person originally asked what headphones are people using.

And why laugh at your trolling? You are performing the definition of the word.

Nope, not trolling. Just stating facts. Beat are junk. Fact. If you are upset by such a statement, then you probably realize I speak truth and are mad at your poor choice in headphones because you based that decision on the "cool factor" not the "music factor".

Anyways, cry as you may, I won't respond to you anymore in this thread however I will continue to talk about real headphones that warrant the time to be discussed.

Oh, no, I'm not upset. But it was your intent to provoke that emotion.

"Enjoy your mud," you said.

"Truth is, want ti (sic) believe it or not, Beats are garbage," you said.

"You might as well wipe your butt with the money..."

Need I go on? You're rude, that's a fact.

Beats are not 'Junk' as junk is in a junk pile. These are produced, purchased and enjoyed daily.

If you have any further constructive responses, feel free to post them, but your trolling is old here.

Perhaps you could be kind and once say, "I don't like beats, this is an alternative to them, and here's why I feel they are justified." You, however, don't do any such thing.

A widely accepted definition of troll: Someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum.

Cry as I may? You continue to attempt to evoke emotion on such a trivial subject. If you want to try to contribute, try contributing. You obviously know a good deal.

Use it wisely.

Nice phones, are you running an amp with them?
not sure if they offer the custom moulded tips in the USA when you buy ety's they did in the UK for a while.
if not try to find some where to do them as it will bring them to life (like finding the perfect seal every time) i sure you know what i mean.

There are some audiologist around that will do the impressions then I guess I send those to whoever make the actual tips. I've thought about doing that. I'm really curious how well they would work.

I am using the Ety's with a JDS Labs cMoyBB and the amp warms the IEM's just enough. I love vocals and acoustic music and I have not found a better match yet than the ER-4S. I love these things. I do look forward to trying them with some nicer amps eventually. My desktop amp bit the dust so all I have is the cMoy at the moment but really, I am perfectly happy with it. I even thought about building my own cMoy in to a desktop case...lol

For cycling and running I use Motorola s9hd. They sound terrible, but I like that with the small tips they seal poorly so I can hear road noise. I need them to be cordless with good controls too so I can use them while riding and be able to answer the occasional call or control music/volume, etc.

They perform the task, but on sound quality alone they really sound like garbage.... They do what I need though, and I've had them since moto gave them to me as replacements for the even worse sounding s9's.

They get good battery life and are comfortable, so they do what I need.

If you like vocals try the upper levels of the shure range the midrange is silky smooth they may be a bit forward for you but you get used to it very quickly (like being on stage in front of the artist) i use a Ray Samuels hornet with SE530(reshelled by uniquemelody) and a Ipod classic.
For desktop amps check out Headfi.org (i'm sure you have visited this site if not hide your wallet first)

The M9 is a lot more punchy in bass. It is great for Hiphop/Pop IMO. My daily IEM is the Brainwavz M1, I use it to listen to a variety of music from classical, acoustic, pop, hiphop, and trance.
