Horned Nerite Eggs

I recall reading on a thread somewhere on the forum (forget which one) that horned nerite snails tend to lay fewer eggs than other nerites. Can anyone attest to this?

I have a bunch of horned/tricolor Nerites and haven't seen a single egg yet.

I have 3. I find eggs fairly often, stuck to the plants or glass. I haven't had other types so I can't say whether mine lay less often or not.
