No it didnt have a large effect really. It was a bad piece of driftwood that wasnt really cured and leached tannins out non stop. I use Flourish and cut it back down to only dosing once a week and it still was a problem. I think the light was too high. Just keep it up, I've been struggling through fightig it and manually remove it every other week. Still dose Excel during the week.
